At the Lake Country Christian Church we believe that prayer is fundamental to having a close relationship with Christ. This is list of prayers and praises that have been voiced this week and in the past at the Lake Country Christian Church. This list is updated each week no later than each Monday night. Praises and prayer request that are in pink are either new or updated from last week. All others are continued thoughts.

Ruth Ann Vlasak - Please pray for our nephew who is suffering from depression and was looking to do harm to himself. Pray that the family can rally around him and that he is able to find his way through this time. Also pray for Steve Sr.'s health as he is having difficulties with his legs and kidneys. Pray that God will provide healing and relief from pain in these areas. (2/2/2012)

Brian & Jennie Alexander – For Allie Jones, she is in Newark Hospital getting ready to have her first baby. She has toxemia and they are going to try to induce labor this morning. However if they feel she or the baby are in danger they will do a C section. Prayers for her and baby Jonathan today. Jonathan is our great nephew and we are so excited to meet him! Charles & Charlotte Carroll – Please pray for Charlie’s long time friend Roy Rossignol. Roy had his own construction business for years in this area and has built many homes. He has emphazema and is on oxygen, pneumonia and a growth on his adrenal gland plus a problem with his heart. His health is in serious condition. Pray for him and his wife Cathy. Thanks. (2/2/2012)

Bob, Donna & Sam – Sue is supposed to have her trach capped off this week. Things are progressing wonderfully for her. Thank you for all your prayers! (1/29/2012)

Rick & Mary Gambee – Pray for the family in the loss of Rick’s sister Monday. (1/20/2012)

Ed Linthicum – Please continue to pray for Peggy and the little boy that was injured in the car accident last Thursday. He is doing ok and Cassie is back to school. Thank you for your prayers. (1/20/2012)

Bob Roper – Please pray for the senior custodian, Adair, at the high school. He is undergoing some complications and infection from a surgery. Thank you. (1/20/2012)

Bob, Donna & Sam – Sue fell Tuesday morning on her knee. She is still getting around doing what she needs to do but the doctor will see her and let us know. She is out of the ventilator recovery wing we just want her home. Thank you for all your prayers! (1/20/2012)

Ropers – Praises to God for a wonderful time at Montrose couple’s conference. The time there in praise and worship was just amazing and the speaker was right on! This is the kind of weekend all couples need to experience. Pray about next year, there are 3 different weekends. Your choice! Join us. (2/2/2012)

Praises to God for this wonderful church family here at LCCC. There are so many things that go on that many of you do not realize. God has many servants here at our church willing to step up and help and/or encourage. I know they do not want the recognition, they do it because of their love for our Lord. Thank you, each one who cares for God’s children with the giving of yourself in His name. Our God is an AWESOME god!!! (1/29/2012)

It was Wonderful to see Larry Kesel, Laurie Shumways’s dad and Emily’s grandfather, with us on Sunday. He is doing great and his recovery is coming along nicely. (1/7/2012)

Bob, Donna & Sam – Sue is back at Demay Living Center and her recovery is progressing daily. She is now on real food (the soft kind) and is really enjoying being able to taste something. They are still working on her speech and physical therapies. Thank you everyone for all your prayers! (1/7/2012)

Laurie Shumway – My dad, Larry, had a great 3 week check-up at Strong. His counts were low but should go back up with his meds. He is getting stronger every day. Thank you for your prayers! (12/12/2011)

Invitational Call -

At the end of each service we offer an alter call at which time anyone is encouraged to come forward and lay at the Lord's feet their concerns, praises, and needs.

To confess your faith in Jesus Christ and to follow Him in baptism by immersion.
To present yourself for membership in this congregation as an immersed believer.
To pray with a pray partner
To be anointed with oil for healing.
To pray for the needs of the church.
