"Rejoicing In This Life" (John 10:1-18)

Abstract - Keeping with this month's theme of rejoicing, today's message uses the passage of John 10 to drive what rejoicing is all about.  That is - we should rejoice that Jesus is our Shepard and that we are His sheep. Introduction -

The Good Shepherd.

He is the LIFE of his flock.

Shepherd have a saying: “A sheep alone is a dead sheep”

#I         LIGHT, Jesus is the light.

a.       Verse 1-3

b.      Two type of sheep pen’s or folds.

c.       One in the pasture and one in the towns.

d.      Thy word is a lamp into my feet, guiding me in this life(That is why you have to read the word daily)

b.      Sin is universal and timeless

c.       Jesus must be an influence The guiding light in your LIFE.

d.      WWJD is more than a wrist band.

#III      Favor: Verse 7-10

a.       Jesus is the only way.

b.      Jesus often used the term “family”

c.       Family members have special Favors. They can “come in and go out”

d.      How is your “FAVOR” with God?

#IV      Eternity. Verse 9

a.       Hebrews 2:14-15

b.      Only by the blood of the Lamb.

c.       Only by giving your LIFE to Him.

d.      John 10:10
