| Abstract -
This message is the third in a series on giving to the Lord. (see Serving The Savior, and Thou Shall Have No Other Gods Before Me) In today's message Pastor Don speaks about the importance of doing what you do for the Lord as good as possible. Also, be sure that you give thanks for serving the Lord and that everyone around you knows that what you do is for the Lord. Pastor Don spends time articulating that God's word, the Holy Bible, equips us with everything we need to do God's good work. He concludes with identifying two things that will last forever, no mater who you are, God's word, and a man's soul. |

Message Outline - Luke 12:15 - Jesus said," A man life does not consist in an abundance of his possession." I Corinthians 6:19 & 20, also vs. 23 I Corinthians 7: 3-5 Illustration: Take it back better than you got it. #1 Ephesians 2:1-10
What is the good work that Jesus prepared before hand, for us to do?
A) Illustration Tony taught me two things. a. Tell the person you are doing this because of Christ. (If you don't they will think you are a great guy and you get the credit and praise rather than Christ.) b. Holy shoddy work is still shoddy work and everyone knows. I Timothy 6:18 &19 II Thessalonians 3:10-13 What God's word teaches:
Hebrews 10:24 Conclusion: We can do this together. Satan has tried to destroy to the church. He brought persecution, division, discouragement. Today he is using a different tactic. Telling people that the church is not needed. The Holy Spirit never contradicts the word of God Hebrews 10:25 Two things will last forever
