| Abstract -
This message is part of a series (see messages 0833a - 0833e) delivered by Pastor Bud Yoder during LCCC's 2008 Family Enrichment Event. Pastor Bud is an evangelist preacher from Cogan Station, PA. Because he does not develop and deliver his message from notes there will be no Outline detail below. To follow is a synopsis of this message. Pastor Bud challenges the local church to actually do well what it declares it is in existence for. The church is to be alive! As individuals we can not be "undercover Christians". People need to know you're a Christian. We must be willing to be "interrupted" or "inconvenienced" to be a true Christian. Think of all of the unsaved people that need you to testify to them, maybe only through prayer, or just asking them to come to church. We need to come out of our "comfort zone". Pastor Bud calls us to be a testimony this week. It all starts by saying "I believe in God today". "Use what you have, do what you can. Start by participating." He continues by saying that we, like the local church, must be a survivor. Next, have faith, goodness, and knowledge. Every morning we should thank God for forgiving us of our past sins. |
