Introduction -

Matthew 22:37 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.

#I         Given: Love has to be given.

a.       Deep expression of love.

b.      Have you ever thought of writing a Psalm or letter to God expressing your love to Him?

c.       To have a quiet time will bring a Spiritual battle.

d.      Practice words that express love.

#II        Reach out:

a.       Love is actively seeking, desiring to be with.

b.      Song of Songs 1:7 & 8

d.      Song of Songs 5: 6b-7

e.       I am in church: Church is where the family of God meets. Hebrews 10:25

#III      Addictive: Love is addictive

a.       They are intoxicated with love.

b.      NT says “Do not get drunk on wine but be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

#IV      Compassionate:

a.       Out of the mouth speaks the over flow of the heart.

b.      God is a jealous God; He will not be put in 2nd place.

#V       Everything:

a.       Ill: The pearl of great price.
