| "Blood Brothers" (II Samuel 9:1-13) | ||
| Originally Delivered: November 30, 2008 | ||
| Message Length: 23min. | ||
| Abstract -
How fortunate we are to be part of God's family! Today's message
is about that blood relationship we have with Jesus. David had a
special "blood relationship" with Jonathan, Saul's son. Pastor Don
uses the biblical story of David and Mephibosheth, son of Jonathan, to
show David's dedication to his best friend Jonathan, who was now dead.
Here, a person who has nothing to offer but to be a burden in life is
given everything due to David's commitment to Jonathan. We too do
not deserve anything from God but his love for us grants undue gifts of
joy and love. |
