Abstract - It's the first message in 2010 and its theme is basic to every first message of the year.  At a time when we all make New Year's Resolutions Pastor Don is challenging us to do so with four basic guidelines in mind, wisdom, statue, favor with God, and favor with men.  That is to prepare yourself mentally, challenge yourself physically, include spiritual growth and finally, do on to others as you would have them do on to you.  Better than just making New Years Resolutions, why not make these a change in lifestyle?  Are you up to the challenge to "Balance Your Life In Christ"?

Boy Scouts.

I learned that when scouts do not do scouting things with the talents they have acquired it destroys the program, it destroys the fun, it discourages other.

II Timothy 2:2

Luke 2:52

Four areas Wisdom, statue, favor with God, favor with men.

I  Wisdom is mental

a. I received five books for Christmas.
a. The history of the Army in America.
b. Sarah Palin’s book.
c. Clive Cussler book.
d. The history and development of the tractor.
e. David Jeremiah’s book “Living with Confidence in a Chaotic world.
f. I read constantly each morning I read (8) selective chapter in the Bible.

II Stature is physical

a. Romans 6:8-14
b. I Corinthians 9:23-27
c. Develop a plan to become or stay physical fit.
d. Jerry West the hall of fame basketball player said. “If you wait till you feel like it you will not accomplish much.”

III Favor with God is Spiritual.

a. Favor means to honor, cherish, value.
b. Perfect church attendance’s.
c. Make a commitment.
d. Prayer
e. Stretch your self out of your comfort zone has been Steve Vlasak battle cry.

IV Favor with men is social.
