"Are You A Water Walker?"
Originally Delivered: September 17, 2008
Message Length: 29 min.
Abstract -

This message is part of a series (see messages 0833a - 0833e) delivered by Pastor Bud Yoder during LCCC's 2008 Family Enrichment Event.  Pastor Bud is an evangelist preacher from Cogan Station, PA.  Because he does not develop and deliver his message from notes there will be no Outline detail below.  To follow is a synopsis of this message.

Well - it is the fifth and final message from Pastor Bud for the 2008 Family Enrichment Event, and he puts away his usual humor and is asking "Are you willing to get out of the boat? He goes on to introduce the "Water Walker" and three characteristics of a Water Walker.
"The problem is not that men die, it's that they never live!" Like that with Peter and his walking on water, sometimes Jesus has a lesson that is just for me. And then, right when I think I am learning what Jesus has for me, or my walk with Him is the best it has ever been, I take my eyes off of my Savior and I begin to sink. Pastor Bud says first, "Water Walkers" must recognize God's presence. Second, Water Walkers discern between faith and foolishness. But you can't be a Water Walker until you get out of the boat!  What is your boat, or that thing that makes you not take that step in faith?  Finally, "Water Walkers accept fear as a price of growth."  Believe that being a Water Walker may be your way to be the greatest you can be - it's a way to really live!
We must come out of our comfort zone (get out of the boat) and be inconvenienced to be a Water Walker.  In this message Pastor Bud gives a heart-felt plea to start now, it is so important, time is quickly getting away.
