Do you Have An Email Address?

The LCCC staff is putting together a list of email addresses of our congregation.  This enables us to send valuable information quickly to you.  Also, we will soon be sending out our monthly news letter via email.  By sending it out using email we can save hundreds of dollars per year on postage.  Please place your email address on the back of a visitor's card, found in the weekly bulletin.

BBQ Hotdogs & Salad

Immediately following the June 27^th service we will be having hotdogs and salad.  Plan to attend, and to bring something to add to the salad bar.

Doubleday's Baseball Game

On July 16 Lake Country Christian Church will be taking part in a special event at the Doubleday's field located in Auburn, NY.  An all you can eat buffet starts at 5:30PM.  The game starts at 7:05PM.  You will find a sign up sheet in the church foyer.  Cost is $14 for adults, 12 to 4 years old are $12, 3 years old and under are free.  Invite friends and neighbors fro this great time!

2010 LCCC Picnic

This year's picnic is being held at Oak Island on July 25^th.  This will be the starting event for out Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Vacation Bible School

VBS will be held from July 26th through July 30th, and promises to be a really great time.  This year's program is called "Backstage With The Bible" from the "Go Fish" team, and is based on a concert environment.

You child will go to the ultimate “concert” experience each day to rock out with the Go Fish Guys! After that, it’s time to go “backstage” to tour a recording studio, check out a tour bus, and most importantly - learn about the Bible!

Exercise Class -

Get fit for the Lord!  On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 6:00 to 6:30AM, Bev & Donna are at the church exercising with a Walk-a-Mile DVD and would love company.  Contact Bev or Donna at the church for details.

Food Pantry -

Jesus said - "You give them something to eat". (Luke 9:13)

Let's not forget the Food Pantry!  Items donated are used for families less fortunate then us and can make a difference to a child or elderly person.  This food is distribution in our local community by LCCC.  Stock on hand permits us to respond quickly to our own family's needs when necessary.  Questions about the Food Pantry can be directed to any one of the following.  Rosie O'Connor or Corinne Coutlee. 

The pantry is in need of cereals, powdered milk, spaghetti sauce, noodles, canned fruits, tuna fish, other canned meats, tooth paste, and toilet paper.

Prayer Focus -

This week's Prayer Focus is for "Prayers for all the Christians around the world that are being persecuted for their faith in Christ Jesus."

Youth Group News -
The Youth Group fund raiser is that of collecting cans and bottles with deposit value.  Find a large bin just outside the kitchen door, or email Jennifer Windhausen for more detail.
