 Ladies Tuesday night Bible study starting new study June 4th

On Tuesday night June 4th our ladies Bible study will be starting a study called, “Made to Crave”.  This is a study with dvd’s and a study guide.  Lysa Terkeurst writes about, “satisfying your deepest desires with God, not…”.  She says,  “It is not the ‘how to’ I’m missing.  It’s the ‘want to’… really wanting to make changes and deciding that the results of those changes are worth the sacrifice.  Each time I craved something that wasn’t part of my plan, I used that craving as a prompt to pray.  I craved a lot, so I found myself praying a lot”.  This is a biblical based study.  If you are interested in finding out more, contact Donna, at the church—539-3899.

Ladies Scrapbooking and Craft Day, Saturday, June 15th

On Saturday June 15th from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm we will be meeting at the church for scrapbooking.  It will be a time to catch up on all those pictures you have been meaning to get into your album.  Come and join us.  Questions, call Donna at the church—539-3899.

• Young Adults - Don Kennedy has a program specific to cults, what are they and how to recognize one.

• Teens - Parent and teen meeting on September 9th at 6:00PM to discuss this years program.  See the Teen page for more detail.

• Kids Klub PM - Kids from age K up to teens.  This year has a new program entitled "Discovering God's Love".

• Nursery - We have an open nursery so you can enjoy one of the above progra

Refrigerator Fund
Our refrigerator fund is growing and we will soon be able to purchase that new fridge. If you would like to contribute to this just designate that on your check and put it in the offering bag. We now have $1,465.00 in the fund! Our goal is $2000.00 Questions, see Charlotte Carroll.

LCCC Now Uses Attendance Folders!

Recently you may have noticed that when entering a row the first chair of that row will have an Attendance Folder laying on it.  Please take a moment when you set down to fill in your name and any other information you would like us to have, letting us know you were in service that week.

Food Pantry -

Jesus said - "You give them something to eat". (Luke 9:13)

“Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food...you will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God”. Jesus said, “You feed them.” And so we obey.  We are so blessed here at LCCC with so many generous givers.

We are now receiving eggs from a member of our congregation, praise the Lord! We could use your empty egg cartons to distribute them to the folks benefiting from our food pantry. Thank You!

Thank you for remembering the Food Pantry this past year! I want to thank each and every one of you who has so generously given to our food pantry during 2012. We fed 308 people last year! Thank you! Katie
 

May 2013 Prayer Focus  -

Ephesians 3:17 says, “I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints...as Christ’s ambassadors, to carry out the ministry of reconciling others to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:18) Pray to stand firm in our faith, continuing to pass on that which we have received.
 

Do you Have An Email Address?

The LCCC staff is putting together a list of email addresses of our congregation.  This enables us to send valuable information quickly to you.  Also, we will soon be sending out our monthly news letter via email.  By sending it out using email we can save hundreds of dollars per year on postage.  Please place your email address on the back of a visitor's card, found in the weekly bulletin, or send your email address to Donna Roper.
