At Lake Country Christian Church we believe the Lord's Word holds the example of what Eldership is. Titus 1:6-9 clearly defines the characteristics of an Elder. Elders at LCCC understand that being chosen to serve the Lord and His local Church in this capacity is an honor and comes with great responsibility. Each holds the others within the group accountable for their commitment of personal spiritual growth through prayer and quiet time in the Lord's Word.

As Elders we look to the Lord for our leadership and remain focused on His Great Commission for evangelizing, first in our community, and then world wide through missions. We believe it is our responsibility to stay focused on leading

Christ's local church where we believe He is guiding, and in developing the spiritual growth of its members.

Pastor Don's wife Marge leads the Celebrate Recovery program at LCCC and is a strong support for Don and his ministry in Waterloo. Randy Cook has been committed to the Lord for more than twenty-five years, and has been serving as Elder at LCCC for the last six. His dedication to the Lord, and to Lake Country Christian Church, is evident in his burden for the care and spiritual development of everyone he meets. Randy's wife Shelly provides leadership through various support efforts and is a great encouragement for the local church and the Eldership team. Steve Vlasak has attended Lake Country Christian Church for over eighteen years, serving as an Elder since 1999. Besides serving the Lord's people Steve manages much of the technology used at LCCC.
