Who We Are

Lake Country Christian Church is an independant Bible teaching church family servicing the Central Finger Lakes region including the communities of Waterloo, Seneca Falls and Geneva, New York. Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:30 AM with praise worship (9:30AM starting June 26th for summer hours), followed with communion and a message. Every Sunday our young ones, ages 5 to 12, attend Children's Church, which runs during our regular service time. Sunday evenings our teens meet for an evening of fun and inspirational fellowship.

We are a church that has experienced God's reward many times for our steps of faith. As such we are a strong missions minded church. Visit our Missions page to see how LCCC supports spreading the Word of Jesus.

What's New at LCCC?

2016 continues to be a year of big growth and change at Lake Country Christian Church! God is at work and the Holy Spirit is moving within. Many new programs are under way and Pastor Jamison continues with a series messages from the new Testament. Our next series is entitled "God and Your Job".

2016 VBS Program

Come join us for our Jungle Safari Kids Program!! Children ages 2-10 will enjoy crafts, games, snacks, music, lessons about the Bible, and much more! The program runs Monday August 1st through Friday August 5th from 6:00- 8:15pm each night. We are located at 68 Swift Street Waterloo NY 13165. To sign up or for more information contact Sue Smith at (315) 539-3899.

Through this program children will:

EXPLORE: the nature of God, and
SERVE: God in practical ways.

Theme for each night:

  • Monday- God is CREATOR. God creates an amazing world (Genesis 1).
  • Tuesday- God is PROVIDER. God provides for Elijah (1 Kings 17).
  • Wednesday- God is PROTECTOR. God protects Daniel (Daniel 6).
  • Thursday- God is SAVIOR. God saves us through Jesus (John 3,19, 20).
  • Friday- God is KING. God rules forever in Heaven (John 14; Revelation 1, 4, 21, 22).

Seneca County Fair

LCCC will be taking part in the Seneca County Fair, July 20-23, 2016. We will be maning our very own booth promoting this year's Vacation Bible School program. If you are interested in being a part of our outreach program during the fair, please speak with Pastor Jamison Deacons.

New Message Series:

Most of us spend over half our lives at work. Whatever it is you do, wether you are a teacher, contractor, doctor, waitress, business person, or if you are a stay at home parent, work is where most of life happens.

For some work is a drain. They dread Monday mornings and they have to drag themselves to work every day because they need the paycheck, all the while they feel trapped and beaten down like life is passing them by. Some people love their work. They are good at what they do and it energizes them and they find fulfillment and success. Most people who spend their life in the rat race finish and become ‘successful’ only to find emptiness in the end. Lots of people struggle to find true meaning in their retirement years.

Whichever category you fit into, (most likely you fit into more than one) have you ever thought about why God gave you the job you have? Have you ever thought about why God choose to wire you the way he did and place you in that specific vocation interacting with those specific people in the year 2016? Or have you thought about the purpose God has for you in your retirement?

In this next sermon series “God and your Job” we will explore God's plan for you in your workplace and discover how you can get the real satisfaction and excitement that goes beyond a paycheck or gaining a certain status. God can lead you into joy and fulfillment in you job (or retirement) right now no matter what it is! I believe that by the end of this series you will be excited for Mondays knowing that you were made for Monday and Monday was made for you!

LCCC Launches Its Online Sermon Videos

Lake Country Christian Church desires to evangelize to the whole world using the Internet. We recognize that there may be times when you cannot be with us in Sunday service, being out of town or perhaps ill. No problem, as our messages will now be available online. Below are links to current online messages. Soon a dedicated page will provide access to a history of messages. Continue watching here for details to come. July Prayer Focus

"Do not work hard only when your owner sees you. You would be doing this just to please men. Work as you would work for Christ. Do what God wants you to do with all your heart. Be happy as you work. Do your work as for the Lord, not for men. Remember this, whatever good thing you do, the Lord will pay you for it. It is the same to the Lord if you are a servant owned by someone or if you work for pay." Ephesians 6:6-8

Small Group Studies

Small group studies have started as of the first week in January and include various bible and Christian subject themes. Look to the Bible Study page under the MINISTRIES tab above for a group of interest.
